Who am I?
I'm the original author of Supybot. Of course, I can't take credit for a lot of the stuff that gets done these days; many others have been amazingly effective in hacking Supybot and they all deserve credit for their contributions!
There are a few things you should know about me, though. First, I am in charge of the source repository of Supybot: that means I determine what goes in and what stays out. I have very strict style guidelines for code that is to be accepted. Second, I care more for Supybot than I do for your feelings. That is to say, I'm never going to accept code because I'm afraid of pissing you off if I reject it. You can ask any of the core developers: I'll gladly make someone angry/sad/upset if it means that inferior code isn't contributed to Supybot.
With that said, however, you should know that I'm really not a mean person. I really shouldn't scare you. The only people that should be afraid of me are the kinds of people who don't feel like living up to their potential; the kind of people that consistently underachieve. Perhaps it's because I'm an underachiever myself that I am so strict with respect to Supybot, but as long as you're trying your hardest to make the best use of the resources God's given you, we'll get along fine.
What can I do for you?
If it can be done with Supybot, I can do it. If it can't be done with Supybot, I can hack Supybot to make it do it. I can be hired for practically any kind of work related to Supybot, from writing plugins, to hack it to run on other messaging systems. Email me with what you want done and we can negotiate my compensation.
Of course, I do still hack Supybot purely with the goal of making it the best IRC bot in existence. When you pay me to hack on Supybot, what you're really paying for is your task's priority on my list of things to do: I prioritize paid work over unpaid work :)
