 • Things to do before the next release.

Here are the things that I think should get done before the next release (0.85.0 or similar). I don't think this list is unreasonable, but if anyone here does, speak soon or it'll be binding :)

Of course, all the remaining plugins need to be converted in some way or another. In particular, I see these that need converted:

* Bugzilla
* XMLLogger (perhaps this can be merged with ChannelLogger somehow?)

Nested plugins should be possible (I've written support for source-nested plugins last night and pushed the repo to

We should empty the "Documentation we need, but don't have" document (that is, we should write all that documentation).

We should fix the Services plugin to have a plugin interface itself, and ideally use nested plugins to their fullest.

The ircdb fix should go in and the way we check capabilities on commands should be updated.

I think that's enough for this release.

Oh, I forgot: write a supybot-doc (or supybot-generate-docs) program for outputting the documentation for a plugin in STX.

Hmm. Maybe some of these aren't important enough to delay a release.

They are all important enough to delay 1.0, but I think we should probably move toward a release soon, within a couple weeks, to be sure.
